How To Initiate a Rollover From Paychex to Icon

Once your Icon IRA has been created, you can finish initiating your rollover directly through your Paychex portal.

Here is how to complete it:

1. Log back into your Paychex portal. You will see a screen confirming your Icon IRA is ready.

2. Under rollover options, choose between a full balance rollover or a partial rollover. Most customers select a full balance rollover, then click Get Started.

4. Select your rollover destination and click My Icon IRA.

5. Choose the type of IRA. If you have both a Traditional and a Roth IRA with us, select Traditional IRA as the destination for your pretax rollover. Your Roth rollover destination will be predetermined, since Roth funds can only roll into a Roth IRA. If you only have one account, you will just select that account.

6. Review the confirmation page. It will show the destination account, the rollover amount, and your contact details.

7. Check the box confirming you are authorized to request this distribution, then click Submit.

Please note that only the account holder is authorized to request the distribution, unless otherwise directed by a court order.

** If you created your Icon before you started the one-click rollover through Paychex, you will need to request a check from Paychex instead. **

1. Contact Paychex and request a check for your rollover funds.

2. Ask that the check be made payable to: Apex Clearing Corporation, FBO [Your Name]

3. I will send you a deposit slip through DocuSign shortly. Once you complete it, please print it and include it with the check.

4. Make sure the memo line on the check notes that the funds are a rollover and includes your Icon account number.

5. Mail the check and deposit slip to:

Apex Fintech Solutions

PO Box 133069

Dallas, TX 75313

We strongly recommend using a mailing method with tracking so the check can be monitored in transit.
